Dear Irvin & SAS Team,
Thank you so much for the great service you provided during our 2 weeks stay in Peru.
We were really impressed how well everything was organized. With so many internal flights and connection we were always met by one of your partners without any delay . Thanks to your service we enjoyed fabulous Peru stress-free.
A special thank you to Jonathan, who promptly replied to all our inquiries and always been very helpful.
We thoroughly enjoyed your country and certainly will recommend SAS Travel to anyone planning to visit Peru.

Amazing Trek with SAS Travel.
We did the 5D/4N Salcantay Trek with SAS. We preferred this over the Inca trail. Much more scenic, no crowds, private campsites, waterfalls, snow capped mountains, etc. SAS was everything we were hoping they would be. No last minute surprises, they were there at the airport, Hotel Marqueses was splendid, breakfast was great, the guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. The tents were spacious (4 person tent for 2 people) No regrets, we highly recommend. PS, Food on the trek was out of this world. How they can prepare a 5 course meal on a mountain using fresh produce was beyond us...
Dear SAS Office Staff and Team,
We just finished up your Lares trek this evening and I wanted to write to tell you what a wonderful group of staff members you have. I’m sure you are already aware but both of our guides, Julio and Felipe, were incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and kind. It felt as though they constantly knew exactly what the group needed and made it happen and they were so positive during what I am sure could be a very difficult job. These type of trips depend so much on the outlook on the staff that lead them and I feel incredibly lucky to have had such wonderful guides.
In addition the food that was prepared by our chefs was so delicious and just to our dietary needs. We felt so lucky to try such delicious Peruvian food especially as vegetarians and have none better in Peru than on your trek. All of the staff were incredibly kind and friendly despite the hard work that they were doing and I would highly recommend every person that was a part of our team.
Thanks to you for putting together such a wonderful group of staff members and sharing them with us.
Words can not describe how amazing the Inka Trail hike is. with SAS. I had an incredible time. The trip was extremely well planned. Our main guide, Evert, was one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met. There was not a flower he did not know or an anthropological, or archaeological, question he could not answer. After the Inka Trail with him, one should earn three credits for college. Evert was assisted by the caring and helpful Cesar.

My wife, son and I just took the 3 day / 2 night tour to the Sacred Valley, Inca Trail, and Machu Picchu. The experience was fantastic. Hiking the Inca trail, even for one day gave us a unique perspective to the area and history. Martin, our tour guide in the Sacred Valley was attentive and informative. Diego, our guide for the trail and sanctuary did a wonderful job telling us about the cultural and natural history of the area. Overall we would book again with SAS Travel. Thank you so much!

VISIT: MORAY the ancient Inca farming laboratory, the andean town of MARAS and natural SALT MINES -SALINERAS -Daily tour departing from Cusco.
This tour is a combination of the famous Sacred Valley Tour and the Classic Train tour to Machu Picchu plus Huayna Picchu, but with extra night in Aguas Calientes, gives you a full day in Machu Picchu to enjoy it from early morning to closing if you so wish! the morning train on the 3rd day allows you to enjoy all the travel moments in daylight which are spectacular so not to be missed!
Also this programme is more economical than the classic 2 day 1 night tour even though it includes 2 nights accommodation, because we use simple accommodation to enable travellers on lower budgets to also enjoy this tour but definitely recommend the upgrade accommodation options for those who would rather stay in nicer accommodation.
Not difficult on Day 1 we will walk 3-4 Hrs in Pisac and Ollantaytambo therefore a comfortable strong sport shoes and clothings as well are mandatory to enjoy the inca stairs up and down.
On Day 2 a small day back pack is recommended so you can have a water to drink and some snacks same as your camera, passport and other belongings.
If you are afraid of heights we do not recommend you think about going up to the mountain of Huaynapicchu.

Early breakfast at 05:00 am, bus at 05:30 am for 30 minutes from Aguas Calientes to Machupicchu to see the sunrise and be the firsts when the Park is open, (we don´t recommend to walk from Aguas Calientes to Machupicchu, better idea is to save energies for the nice walks inside Machupicchu Park, Machupicchu is huge) 2-3 Hrs guided tour with an expert guide in english or in Spanish. Machupicchu, the lost city of the Incas, where the last emperors, priests and priestesses took refuge and where the empire survived for 40 years after the arrival of the Spaniards. Secret and mysterious citadel from the time of Pachacutec Inca Yupanqui (IX-Inca`s Dinasty) emperor, his presumed constructor. Then apparently its existence was even well-known only by the authorities and the priests of the Tawantinsuyo “The four lands of the empire”. Machupicchu prodigy of architecture of aesthetic recklessness and by the magestic and harmony of its forms, by the impeccable organization of its terraces, stairs, buildings, patios, passages that are set up in this nest of condors, surrounded by mountains, between the mountain range and the forest like but the extraordinary constructive feat of the pre-Hispanic man.
