Dear Irvin & SAS Team,
Thank you so much for the great service you provided during our 2 weeks stay in Peru.
We were really impressed how well everything was organized. With so many internal flights and connection we were always met by one of your partners without any delay . Thanks to your service we enjoyed fabulous Peru stress-free.
A special thank you to Jonathan, who promptly replied to all our inquiries and always been very helpful.
We thoroughly enjoyed your country and certainly will recommend SAS Travel to anyone planning to visit Peru.

Amazing Trek with SAS Travel.
We did the 5D/4N Salcantay Trek with SAS. We preferred this over the Inca trail. Much more scenic, no crowds, private campsites, waterfalls, snow capped mountains, etc. SAS was everything we were hoping they would be. No last minute surprises, they were there at the airport, Hotel Marqueses was splendid, breakfast was great, the guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. The tents were spacious (4 person tent for 2 people) No regrets, we highly recommend. PS, Food on the trek was out of this world. How they can prepare a 5 course meal on a mountain using fresh produce was beyond us...
Dear SAS Office Staff and Team,
We just finished up your Lares trek this evening and I wanted to write to tell you what a wonderful group of staff members you have. I’m sure you are already aware but both of our guides, Julio and Felipe, were incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and kind. It felt as though they constantly knew exactly what the group needed and made it happen and they were so positive during what I am sure could be a very difficult job. These type of trips depend so much on the outlook on the staff that lead them and I feel incredibly lucky to have had such wonderful guides.
In addition the food that was prepared by our chefs was so delicious and just to our dietary needs. We felt so lucky to try such delicious Peruvian food especially as vegetarians and have none better in Peru than on your trek. All of the staff were incredibly kind and friendly despite the hard work that they were doing and I would highly recommend every person that was a part of our team.
Thanks to you for putting together such a wonderful group of staff members and sharing them with us.
Words can not describe how amazing the Inka Trail hike is. with SAS. I had an incredible time. The trip was extremely well planned. Our main guide, Evert, was one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met. There was not a flower he did not know or an anthropological, or archaeological, question he could not answer. After the Inka Trail with him, one should earn three credits for college. Evert was assisted by the caring and helpful Cesar.

My wife, son and I just took the 3 day / 2 night tour to the Sacred Valley, Inca Trail, and Machu Picchu. The experience was fantastic. Hiking the Inca trail, even for one day gave us a unique perspective to the area and history. Martin, our tour guide in the Sacred Valley was attentive and informative. Diego, our guide for the trail and sanctuary did a wonderful job telling us about the cultural and natural history of the area. Overall we would book again with SAS Travel. Thank you so much!

The great biodiversity of this national park is due to it starting in the eastern slopes on the Andes and plunging down into the lowlands, thus covering a wide range of cloud forest and rainforest inhabitats. The most progressive aspect of the park is the fact that so much of it is very carefully protected, a rarity anywhere in the world.

Manu National Park - Cultural Zone
The Manu Cultural Zone is one of the three zones in the Manu National Park that boasts high mountains, cloud forests and low jungles. In this area, there are small villages with native farmers. This zone is protected by the Farming Ministry and Manu park authorities to act as a buffer zone to the Reserved and intangible zones.
We take you to the cloud forest of the eastern slopes of the Andes (Manu road) and to the upper lowland forest (around 500 - 600m altitude). Great for bird and monkey observation. (Gallito de las rocas, oropendolas, parrots, ) Also suitable for families with younger children.
On the first day of our adventure into the Jungle of Manu, we will pick you up around 5:45 AM from your Hotels in Cusco, using the service of our private SAS transport. The first part of our excursion is will take us through the majestic Andean mountains, where we will take a quick opportunity to visit a really nice pleasant lake by the name of Huacarpay, a high Andean Lagoon that boasts heaps of flora and fauna typical of the Andean mountains. Afterwards, we will visit the town of Huancarani which contains the funeral towers of Ninamarca, a cemetery of the Lupaca Pre –Inca Culture, which we will visit briefly on our way to Paucartambo, which is known as the folkloric capital of the district of Cusco. In the face of modern times, this small colonial pueblo has managed to hold on to its rich tradition for centuries upon centuries. At mid-day we will arrive at the entrance of Manu National Park and access to one of the most protected natural areas in South America. We will continue on in our private transport down a dirt road and on through the thick fog from which this section of the forest takes it name. Eventually we will arrive at the home of the exotic Peruvian National Bird, the “Cock of the Rocks”, where it is known to gather with others of its kind for some sort of social gathering that seems reminiscent of a large courtship. You will find that this is quite an amazing spectacle complete with an impressive array of sounds and colours that can only be found in the jungle. For our first night, we will stay in the beautiful BAMBU Lodge, where we will arrive at approx. 5:00 p.m.

GOLDEN VINE LODGE
Very early in the morning we will go on our way to the Parrots clay lick, where we will have the chance to see dozens of beautifully colored, tropical birds, that gather at this clay wall every morning to eat the nutrients out of the soil. The bright colored birds, with the lush jungle surrounding them, and the morning sunrays bursting through the canopy is a spectacular event that you won´t soon forget. We back to the Lodge for breakfast and get ready to leave our location in direction to Cusco we will pass through the beautiful Sacred Valley on the way, arriving in Cusco around 6:00 pm (Approximately).
