Day 1: Cusco, Chincheros,Moray, Maras, Salineras, drive to Ollantaytambo, Train to Aguas Calientes. Night in a Hotel.

This new private tour starts from Cusco at 07.45 am driving for 1 hour to arrive and visit Chincheros Inca town, a beautiful Andean town with impressive archaeological sites and a colonial church constructed on the XVII century, afterward, we continue to Moray to explore the famous Incas Agriculture and Farming Laboratory, Greenhouse Effect. The Andean people used these circular terraces at Moray, west of Cusco, like an Agricultural -research station. By a freak of climate and terrain, the average temperature on the lower terraces is much cooler than on the higher ones, very impressive then we return to Maras the little Andean town with unique landscapes, then we continue toward the Salineras ancient salt mine where local families are processing the salt with traditional techniques. Late afternoon we continue to Ollantaytambo town, from there we will take a train for 2 hours to Aguas Calientes. Arriving to Aguas Calientes train station our staff will meet you and walk for 4 minutes to Viajeros B&B Hotel, Dinner will be offered and your guide for Machu Picchu will meet you to clarified details for the next day, the great day to see Machu Picchu -sacred, magic, beautiful and full of positive energy. Day 2: Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu guided tour, afternoon train return to Cusco.

After breakfast at the Hostel, your tour guide will come to the hostel or hotel to pick you up, then 5 minutes walk to the Bus Station, now we are ready to board the bus up to Machu Picchu Citadel, it takes 40 minutes approximately, (Please bring and show your passports at the checkpoint). Machu Picchu Sanctuary is open from 06:00 am (the night before your tour guide will come to your hotel to explain to you the details of your tour.) From 2022 the Park has established 3 new Circuits. (our guides will do all possible to offer you the best tour even in extreme circumstances.) A guided tour of Machupicchu Citadel takes approximately 2 - 2.5 Hrs, after the historical information, the tour leads you through all the most important areas of the sanctuary, as the miradors, the temples, the residences, plazas and terraces, time to get the best photos. Afterward, you have finished your tour, take a bus to Aguas Calientes town or you can walk down -optional it takes 1.5 Hrs. The very interesting MachuPicchu Museum and Botanical Garden are located at Puente Ruinas which are worth it to consider a visit. Lunch is not included on 2nd Day. (Bring some snacks and drinks or order a box lunch at the Hostal/Hotel the night before at Reception.) Free time to stay in Aguas Calientes town or enjoy the hot springs (15 Soles pp extra). Train return is generally at 15.43 pm to Ollantaytambo and private transport to Cusco, (in high season the train times may be slightly different due to availability) or can be a direct train to Cusco. Finally a 30 minutes transfer from the Train Station to your Hotel in Cusco.
