I was on the June 3-8th Salkantay hike, the trip was excellent! I highly recommend it, had a blast. Peru was wonderful, friendly people, good food, great hike to Machu Picchu! Our guides did a wonderful job. I'd go again....

We took part in the Inca Trail on 2-5 June this year and we both had an absolutely fantastic experience from the beginning to the spectacular end of the trip. Our guides Jimmy and Juan Carlos were superb, they were on call 24 hours of each day and were always: supportive; motivational; educational; and ready with a smile. We really felt like a team. The co-ordinator (Ricardo) made our campsites for lunch, dinner and the evening so very comfortable. It all worked like a smoothly oiled machine. The food was plentiful and really tasty. I am vegetarian and often do not have much choice in restaurants but every meal was a delight, bravo to the chef. Our Chaskis were the backbone of the team (strong and reliable) quietly trekking past us to carry all the requirements for our comfort from one stop to the next. The final praises go to the administrative team in the Cusco office that brought all of us together with such efficiency for the trek of a lifetime. We send our best wishes to you all.

Inca Trail was much more than I expected and I loved every minute of it. Our guide, Danny Ramirez, has a great sense of humor and was wonderful throughout the trip. Danny took the time to explain to us each of the ecological sites we stopped by and told us many interesting facts about the Inca people. Highly recommended tour guide!!

The porters were amazing. They took care of us very well. The food was amazing - a handmade cake for breakfast prior to our departure to Machu Picchu, handmade pizza with fresh tomatoes and ham, everything was delicious.

This was a once in a life time experience for me and I want to thank Danny and his team to make the trip an unforgettable one.

I´ve joined in the Inca Trail 4d/3n with SAS Travel with the guides Ruben and Michael. The trecking tour was a great experience, I enjoyed the tour - it was unforgettable for me. We were a funny group with two great guides . The 2nd day was a real challenge, but Ruben and Michael motivated and helped me when I had problems. All the SAS team was great - good food and good service, we had a very good time with unforgettable experiences in the nature and on the old Inca places and always with much fun. The greatest when we arrived the sun gate with the view of Machu Picchu in the morning on the 4th day!
A special event too the climbing up the Huayna Picchu at the end of the tour with Michael, we did it in the half time like recommended.
Thank you for all your efforts, for your service and for your help.
I remember a great time in Cusco and on the trail.

So much more what I ever expected, and I mean in everything !!!! The guides were amazing ( Ruben and Michael ; ), the food, the porters, the arrangements, just name it, everything worked so well. AMAZING AND UNFORGETTABLE! Jimmy and Eric were our incredible guides on this fantastic journey. They were thoughtful guides who helped our group of 11 hikers bond right away. I can't emphasize enough how amazing the porters and chefs were- we had elaborate meals every day, and were always well-fed and hydrated. Phenomenal trip. We were so incredibly lucky to have Eddy and Herlin to guide our big group of 15 hikers. They were so passionate and incredibly well-informed about the ruins, the medicinal plants along the trail, and took us to less-frequented spots that made this trip very special.

In fact, we were all commenting on our luck on how this trip came together-- the fun & amazing guides, the beautiful weather, bonding with our fellow hikers, the phenomenal cooking (ceviche in the middle of the Andes!), the dedicated and hard-working chasquis -- we all felt very well taken care of by our fellow brothers.

hello i am just back from the inca trail, our guides wer eddie, elmar and hadar. it was the best experience of my life they were fantastic , the made everybody feel so welcome and made the whole experience amazing. i made some lifelong frends on the hike and learned so much about the world and myself. the chskys were amazing and were briliant getting involved in our nigthly games. all these guys shud be awarded in someway for the briliant fantastic work they do. i will definitly be reccomending SAS to everybody.

Us city slickers were def not expecting the hike to take a toll on our lungs let alone our bodies. We were always the last on our group to make it to our check points, but nonetheless, we had a blast. THANKFUL for our awesome tour guides; Eddie & Edwin. We travelled with SAS from the 20th August until 5th September. The 5 day amazon experience at Cortos Maltos lodge was faultless. Cusco 7 day with short inca trail was the best part of the whole trip.Then onto Puno for 3 day Titicaca trip and finally Arequipa and Colca canyon trip. We had everything run to clockwork and picked up at every airport.The office is next door to Hotel Marquess in Cusco.All the drivers, guides and office staff so friendly. A special mention to Eddie our 2 day inca trail guide who was so knowlegeable and kept us safe,Manuel a charming friendly and knowledgeable guide and Soledad back at cusco office who never tired of my relentless emails.

Ed and I did this tour as part of our honeymoon and it was the best thing that we did in the three weeks we were in South America - it even rivalled visiting the Galapagos Islands!
Hilbert, our very knowledgeable guide was friendly and fun and looked after us and motivated us every step of the way.
The porters were wonderful and every time we arrived at camp our tents were set up, with our bags and beds inside and the food!! Wow!! This camp food was better than some food we have experienced in restaurants in Peru and UK! Every meal was different and plentiful with lots of choice.
We loved seeing Machu Picchu but to be honest, the four day journey to get there was as amazing as the final destination itself!!
Thank you Hilbert and SAS Travel for an adventure we will never forget!!!
