We highly recommend Boutique Hotel Marqueses in Cusco, it is a beautiful and charming Colonial house built at the end of XVI century that has recently been restored and refurbished, located just one block from Cusco`s mayor Plaza. This great location is part of its popularity, close to all of the most important tourist attractions in the famous capital of Inca`s Empire. Well known for its incomparable hospitality and professional service. We can reserve the hotel and transfers you from the airport on your arrival and back on your return, you will enjoy a safe visit, wonderful attention and be pleasantly surprised by the warmth of the Andean Hospitality.
Due to the safe and strategic location you are within easy walking distance of the many historical places, museums, restaurants, cultural, artistic and traditional places of the Imperial Inca City.
SAS Travel Tour Operator & Agency offices are located alongside Hotel Marqueses so we at SAS Travel can assist you at any time.

Hello David and Robyn,
My name is Cathy and I just returned from an amazing trip to Peru. I was lucky enough to randomly book the 8 day Cusco package through SAS which included the 4D/3N Inka Trek. First and foremost, I must say how impressed I am with the quality of service, professionalism of the staff and genuine sincerity of the tour guides and porters. The food was AMAZING and you truly have a very hardworking and dedicated staff. I will be sure to recommend SAS to my friends and colleagues.
Muchos gracias !! for a great experience.
Cathy
“Hands down the best tour group to trek Macchu Picchu”
I've already sent multiple people with SAS on my recommendation and they all come back like I do: Singing their praises!
All of the trek companies basically offer the same package (hiking with food provided along the same trail), to the details really matter. Here is where I believe SAS is a cut above:
--Food: I really believe we ate much better than any other group I saw during our trek. On top of that, no one in our group was sick, despite the fact that they're cooking for a bunch of white people in the Peruvian mountains. That is impressive in and of itself, the each meal was unique and delicious.
--Group dynamics: They really try to have each tour be a group of people that will get along and enjoy each others' company during the trek. The guides are great, at least 1 per 8 hikers, and really add to the group in their own ways.
--Porters: They take good care of them and actually make them part of the experience, twice we all stood in a circle and introduced all of ourselves; we were a group making this trek together. The porters are hard working and encouraging; when you arrive into camp the tents are set up and they have hot water waiting for you to wash your face.
The Inca Trail Hike is an incredible journey and a lifelong memory. SAS Travel is the perfect way to experience it.
Hi SAS Travel,
Few days ago we finished a nice adventure in the mountains for me and my friends it was an incredible tour, Hilbert did a great job , serious, historical information of the archeological sites. The Inca trail is an amazing trip.
Awesome in every single way, would not change anything, meals were superb, coordinator Valerio he is very charming man, the porters are nice people and very friendly. Thanks, I would recommend SAS Travel, we made this adventure with the best company..

Completed the 4 day Inca Travel with my daughters yesterday. Delivered everything it promised, giving this over 50 an incredible life lesson ending in spiritual paradise of MachuPicchu.
Even the landslide which required some re-routing did not phase our excellent guides Rueben and Danny who ensured the changes proceeded smoothly while keeping a diverse but fun group entertained. This professionalism was evident in the way they assisted, but not rescued, me in overcoming the Dead Women's Pass on Day 2 in difficult conditions. (yes, I did choose the wet season)
Highly recommended for all who like a challenge.
Hola,
Just a quick message to say thank you for a fantastic four day hike to Machu Picchu with your company SAS Travel on 7th Nov 2011.
Your porters and guides were always so helpful, friendly, patient and professional.
I really liked the way the guides sat with us every evening, ate this is something I found quite unique about your tour compared to other tours I had done in South America the guides wanted to make us feel at ease and share a laugh or two about the days events!
The tour was so well planned out and no doubt you have heard many times the variety and quality of the food you provided was world class.
I would like to take this opportunity to highly recommend the two tour guides we had in particular Hugo Santos. He was an amazing guide so patient and kind to me when I found it difficult in places especially dead women's pass on the second day. He was with me every step of the way with a big smile on his face sharing words of encouragement with me........his kindness will never be forgotten.
Keep up the good work SAS !
I will continue to recommend your tours to fellow travels who ask for advise..
Thanks again, Nora Lennon.

This tour is a combination of the famous Sacred Valley Tour and the Classic Train tour to Machupicchu, so for those who only have 2 days to experience these sights rather than 3, it is a must!! A sightseeing and short walks guided tour,
We do depart our tours before other groups so we evoid the crowds visiting same sites, but overall we tried to show you places and things that are not commontly seen.
Enjoy the beauty to the Andes, high mountains at the famous Sacred Valley of the Incas, see the farming terraces still with maize crops cultivated by modern Cuzqueños, llamas and alpacas en route for classic pictures, see the traditional Market in Pisac now run every single day, guided tour in the Inca town of Pisac at the top of the mountain, then a visit to Ollantaytambo, before we stop at Urubamba the biggest town on the valley for a short typical lunch, late at the afternoon we take a tourist train for 2 and a half hours to the nice town of Aguas Calientes the nearest place to Machupicchu, our staff from Viajeros Hotel will wait for you at the train station to take you just 4 minutes to Viajeros. We enjoy our Dinner and early good night for a next big day!!
Early breakfast and at 5:00 am we are taking the first bus for 30 minutes to Machupicchu.
Guided tour in this marvelous place, visit of the most relevant temples and areas scorted by your experienced guide, then extra free time to explore by your own.
Afternoon return to Ollantaytambo and a private transport to Cusco, transfer to your Hotel.
Next day we suggest to get the afternoon train to flight to Lima then you can enjoy the full morning in Cusco, San Blas, Plaza Nazarenas Cristo Blanco walk. Transfer to the airport.
At 8.20am meet at SAS Travel office or transfer from your hotel at earlier time if coordinated. In a tourist bus we travel over the mountains and then we drop 1500 feet to the valley floor of the sacred Urubamba river and the village of Pisac where we will visit a traditional market and you can buy some local souveniers. We then drive up to explore the extensive ruins of Pisac with stunning views over the valley. For those who would prefer to spend more time in the market instead of visiting the ruins, advise your guide so he can organise a time and place to pick you up when they return through the market. We continue on to Urubamba where we stop for you to have lunch. A further 30 mins drive takes us to Ollantaytambo surrounded by the sacred mountains, where we will again discover the magnificence of the Incan constructions and the beauty of the local people in their traditional dress.
You will then be escorted to the train station to board the valle train. This is a 1.5 hr journey to Aguas Calientes where the representative from Hotel Viajeros will meet you and settle you into your accommodation. You have free time to visit the hot springs if you like and then dinner and overnight in the hotel. Dinner is included for you at Hostal Viajeros.
