Program Itinerary

Day 1: WELCOME... ARRIVAL TO CUSCO.

Reception in Cusco airport and Transfer to Hotel Marqueses, Relax, rest and acclimatise. We advise you to get an early flight so you can just spend your first 2 hours in Cusco seriously doing nothing but trying to breathe!!

just relax today and maybe a short afternoon stroll as Marqueses hotel is in the perfect location to see Cusco right outside your door as you are in the safe tourist district and amidst 3 bein the midst of the most beautiful combination of Inca and Colonial architecture to souvenir shop or add some amazing photos to your collection.

If you are not exhausted tonight you can go to the Cusco Folk Dances and Music at Cusco Art Center in the main Ave el Sol which are included on the tourist ticket 6.30pm 10 min slow walk from Hotel Marqueses.

Day 2: CUSCO CITY TOUR AND THE FAMOUS SAQSAYWAMAN AND KORICANCHA.

Free morning to acclimatise and in the afternoon City tour

Afternoon: Guided Visit to the City as well as the nearby ruins of Tambomachay, Puca Pucara, Qenko and Sacsayhuaman. (Tourist Cusco Ticket to visit City Tour, Sacred Valley and Other Sites NOT included )

Day 3: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS, EXPLORE THE WELL KNOW PISAC AND ENJOY ITS TYPICAL MARKET.

Guided Visit of the Sacred Valley of the Incas . ( Daily Departures ) Morning: Departure from Cusco in direction of the Sacred Valley. This Tour includes a Visit to the Pisac colourful Handcraft Market, Pisac archaeological Park, Ollantaytambo Inca Fortress and Return to Cusco via Chinchero site and Market.

Day 4: INCA TRAIL ,PISKACUCHO Km 82-PATALLAQTA- CUSICHACA CANYON- WAYLLABAMBA- AYAPATA

The Inca Trail to Machu Picchu 4 Day Trek At 06:00 am a spectacular early morning drive through the Sacred Valley takes us to our trailhead at Km. 82 Piskacucho After meeting our staff and porters you will set out, crossing a footbridge to hike a gentle two hours down the Urubamba canyon, and then visit imposing sculpted Inca farming terraces and the settlement of Llaqtapata on the banks of the Cusichaca side river. We then climb a short way up the Cusichaca valley to Huayllabamba, where we camp.

Day 5: INCA TRAIL, AYAPATA 3 STONES, LLULLUCHAYOC, DEAD WOMAN`S PASS, PACAYMAYO, RUNCURACAY,

The Inca Trail trek adventure We climb the steep-sided Llullucha valley past a rushing stream and through enchanting subtropical woodland. Crossing the rim of a small plateau, we find ourselves in the puna, the treeless grasslands of the high Andes. The trail traverses an open slope opposite mighty mountain crags as we ascend to the first and highest pass, Warmiwañusca (4,200m). Here we encounter spectacular views of the trail ahead to the second pass, and look back to the sweeping snowpeaks Huayanay and valleys We then follow the trail to the floor of the Pacaymayo valley, where we camp for the night.

Day 6: INCA TRAIL, PACAYMAYO, RUNCURACAY, PHUYU, WIÑAYWAYNA

The Inca Trail trek adventure This morning, we pick up an Inca stairway and ascend again past the small Inca site of Runkuracay. As we reach the second pass, the landscape opens onto spectacular new views to the snowpeaks of the Pumasillo range. We descend to the ruins of Sayacmarca ( Inaccessible Town), an intricate labyrinth of houses, plazas and water channels, perched precariously on a rocky spur overlooking the Aobamba valley. The Inca trail, now a massive buttressed structure of granite paving stones, continues along the steep upper fringes of the cloud forest through a colorful riot of orchids, bromeliads, mosses and ferns. At the third pass pinnacles topped with Inca viewing platforms overlook the archaeological complex of Phuyupatamarca (Cloud-level Town).Pausing to explore the maze of Inca stone towers, fountains and stairways that spills down the mountainside here, we begin a long descent through ever-changing layers of cloud forest. An Inca stairway partly cut from living granite leads us finally to our camp by the ruins of Wiñay Wayna (Forever Young), the largest and most exquisite of the Inca Trail sites.

Day 7: WIÑAYWAYNA, INTIPUNKU, MACHUPICCHU , AGUAS CALIENTES.

An early morning hike takes us an hour across a steep mountainside through lush, humid cloud-forest of giant ferns and broad-leaf vegetation. Suddenly we cross the stone threshold of Intipunku (Sun Gate) and encounter an unforgettable sweep of natural beauty and human artistry -a backdrop of twisting gorge and forested peaks framing the magical city of Machu Picchu.

We complete the final leg down the royal flagstone walkway, past outlying shrines and buildings and into the heart of Machu Picchu, where we spend the rest of the morning with a guided tour of the highlights and some individual exploring among Machu Picchu's multitude of hidden nooks and corners; after your guided visit in this unique sanctuary you will have a free time for picture or exploration in your own. In the early afternoon a bus takes us down to the foot of the mountain to the small town of Aguas Calientes where you can settle into your room and have a hot shower before we have lunch together in the Hostel Viajeros . Rest finally and maybe soak in the Hotsprings here in "Aguas Calientes before dinner.

Day 8: AGUAS CALIENTES, OLLANTAYTAMBO, CUSCO.

After Breakfast you are assisted to board the train that departs Aguas Calientes at 09.22 am and arrives
at Ollantaytambo at 11.25 am. The tour ends at Ollantaytambo.
It is a lovely place to walk around, to visit the Incan sites and even to spend the night;

There are many public buses and collectivos at the Ollantaytambo Train Station that provide a cheap transfer to Cusco via Urubamba for around 8-10 soles or $3, departing regularly throughout the day; there are also many tourist buses now who provide transoprt for around $5 -$6 directly from the train station area

Day 10: CUSCO TO PUNO THE SOUTH ROUTE TO THE LAKE TITIKACA.

7am transfer to Inka Express Class tourist bus to Lake Titicaca - Puno. With a lovely buffet lunch in Sicuani and tours with English speaking guide to Andahuaylillas, Raqchi, La Raya & Pukara. Bus is fully equipped for tourism. Please have some soles for the entrance fees

Day 11: FLOATING ISLANDS, UROS, TAQUILE AND AMANTANI.

Titicaca Lake Uros,Taquile and Amantani Islands . 8.00am Transfer from the hotel to the port and by motor boat we take you to one of the legendary Uros Islands where you can observe the lives of the Uros people who live on floating reed islands some only 20 metres in length. After a beautiful 3hr boat ride we reach Amantani island where we will break into smaller groups to stay with the local families. We will trek to the top of the mountain (4150 mtrs) to see the Temples of the Pachamama and Pachatata and enjoy the traditional customs of the island people. Day 12: LOS UROS ISLANDS AND RETURN TO PUNO.

Titicaca Lake Uros,Taquile and Amantani Islands . Short boat ride to the neighbouring Taquile island, where we will tour around the ruins and visit these beautiful people, world famous for their intricate and fascinating weavings, lunch and return trip to Puno. Arrival in the afternoon and transfer back to hotel approx 5 pm

Day 13: FROM PUNO TO CHIVAY TO SEE CONDORS AT COLCA CANYON.

6am transfer to transport 4M express to Chivay depart Puno 6.30 beautiful journey. arrive to Chivay 12.45pm to have lunch. the part of group that starts from Arequipa and continue tour from here together to see the beautiful landscapes, local people.

early excursion to the famous Crus de Condor to see the condors flying and visit other sites n the return to Chivay.

Day 15: FREE DAY TO ENJOY THE BEAUTY OF AREQUIPA THE WHITE CITY.

Day 16: AREQUIPA TO NAZCA IN A OVERNIGHT BUS.

Sleepin today as you have an overnight bus tonight.
Last chance to enjoy Arequipa the white City.
Evening Transfer from your hotel in Arequipa or Colonial Tour at approx 9:20 pm.to the Bus Terminal.


From Arequipa you`ll take the CIAL Royal Class Bus at 10:00 pm for the overnight bus to Nazca arriving at approx 06:00 am.

Day 17: FLIGHT OVER THE NAZCA LINES AND NIGHT IN PARACAS.

Assistance upon arrival and transfer to Hotel Maison Suisse in Nazca ( our Flight Operation Center ) time to enjoy a Shower and relax. There are a couple of local restaurants nearby where you can buy breakfast if you like or also in the hotel but many prefer to eat something after the flight instead!
Between 8 amd 8.30am you are transferred to the Nazca Aerodromo for your Flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines. Approximately 35 Minutes flying over this enigmatic zone,
Afterwards, we will visit the pre-Inca cementry of Chauchilla. For many years this pre Inca place was looted by treasure hunters, who ransacked the place completely, taking away all the treasures the mummies kept in their tombs for centuries. These grave robbers just left behind the corpses, which can be seen today all over the ground. In addition to skulls and bones, you also can see several tombs centuries old, as well as long human hairs, ceramic fragments and others remains scattered on the desert surface. After touring around we go back to Nazca to visit a ceramic studio, where a craftsman will give us a better insight about the Nazca civilization and the colorful vessels they made hundreds of years ago. Free time for lunch.


Nazca Paracas Bus ; Transfer from to pick up your luggage then at 13:00 Hrs pm transfer to bus terminal for the 14.30pm Cruzero Royal Class Bus or Peru-Bus to Paracas arriving Paracas at approx 18.00 pm. Transfer to your Hotel in Paracas El Condor or Posada del Libertador, Meals are not included. Optional with up-grade with the lovely Hotel Paracas.

Day 18: BALLESTAS ISLANDS TOUR THE SMALL GALAPAGOS, PARACAS RESERVE TOUR AND BUS TO LIMA.

Excursion to Ballestas Islands : 07.45am after your breakfast we will transfer you to the mole of Paracas where you will take a motorboat excursion to the Ballestas island. These Islands are spectacular, eroded into numerous arches and caves, which provide shelter for thousands of seas lions and seabirds, some of which are very rare. The Islands are known as "The Galapagos of Peru".. A boat tour to the Ballestas Islands will be the perfect deal for those in search of marine life. Touring around these small Islands visitors may easy spot hundreds of birds, Humboldt penguins and dozens of sea lions, resting on the shores of the Islands. In addition, visitors will also see a huge figure etched on the slope of a hill known by the locals as "El Candelabro".


Free time for a relaxing Lunch before a 1pm transfer to the 13.30pm Ormeño Royal Class Bus or Cruzero Bus to Lima arriving to Lima approximately 7pm
