Having just returned from the 2 day Machu Picchu trip with SAS we wanted to

let you know what a great trip we had. We had been recommended SAS by

several sources and can see now why you are so highly regarded. We were

impressed with all aspects of the set up - from your office staff to the

guide. Our tour guide Ruben made the trip for us, his knowledge, passion and

enthusiasm was second to none, we couldnt have asked any more of him. On our

return journey the train broke down but SAS were waiting for us at the next

stop once we got going, whereas other travellers were left stranded.

Also your bus driver helped us sort a problem at Cusco bus station when our

Ormena bus to Puno was cancelled the following day. He refunded us the

correct amount of money and ensured we were able to continue with another

company.

Keep up the good work, we will ensure SAS receives glowing reports to anyone

we meet.

I recently completed a 4 day trek with your company on the 5th of August. I just wanted to say what a pleasure it was to have been smart enough to use your company. Omar and Stefano were absolutely wonderful as guides. They were kind and patiently responded to any questions asked of them. Their meticulous attention to detail was greatly appreciated by the rest of the group and myself. The porters were the hardest working bunch of guys that I have ever seen. It amazed me that they could tear down and put up a site so fast. Your cook is a tremendous asset as all of the meals we were served were outstanding. I would recommend your company to anyone looking for a reputable firm to guide them over the trail. It was a trip that I will never forget. Please give my regards to everyone there. I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our trip with SAS and particularly with Itzak and Julian as guides. We were every tired when we filled our the review form on the last day after lunch and I wanted to impress upon you what a great experience we had on the Inca trail. My husband and were particularly impressed with the sensitivity that our guides had for the environment and for the porters and their welfare. "Walk a Mile in my shoes", "Wawa-Wasi", "Shoes shiners boys" If you are coming to Cusco please make a space for a couple of second hand clothes, shoes especially for kids, school equipment, toys and drop them off in our office. We will help distribute the items to people who really need them in small village schools and communities in the mountains of Lares.
