So much more what I ever expected, and I mean in everything !!!! The guides were amazing ( Ruben and Michael ; ), the food, the porters, the arrangements, just name it, everything worked so well. Now I really do understand why it is worth to pay maybe little bit more than just an ordinary tour operator, Sas Travel really makes your trip easy and that you can enjoy every moment of it, and very important point, with the excellent and professional guides who can really make a huge diffence while up there in the mountains....my best wishes to all SAS Travel staff, would return anytime with you, my Inca Trail was one of the top experiences of my life, thx to you ! Special greeting to our funny and the best guides, Ruben and Michael ; )
AMAZING AND UNFORGETTABLE! Jimmy and Eric were our incredible guides on this fantastic journey. They were thoughtful guides who helped our group of 11 hikers bond right away. I can't emphasize enough how amazing the porters and chefs were- we had elaborate meals every day, and were always well-fed and hydrated. SAS did an exceptional job and it's clear that they are an elite company. Thank you for everything.
Phenomenal trip. We were so incredibly lucky to have Eddy and Herlin to guide our big group of 15 hikers. They were so passionate and incredibly well-informed about the ruins, the medicinal plants along the trail, and took us to less-frequented spots that made this trip very special.
In fact, we were all commenting on our luck on how this trip came together-- the fun & amazing guides, the beautiful weather, bonding with our fellow hikers, the phenomenal cooking (ceviche in the middle of the Andes!), the dedicated and hard-working chasquis -- we all felt very well taken care of by our fellow brothers.
Sulpayki, SAS!
SAS thank you! Nothing written here would be able to express the amazing experience of having Eddy G , Oscar and JC as guides on the Inca trek. Or being pampered by the Chaskey (group from Pisac) and being fed absolutely devine food by Julio and his assistant! It will always remain an unforgettable experience and only good things will be repeated about SAS by this satisfied customer! SAS was referred to my by a friend who was pleased with the experience and so it shall continue to be!
SAS gracias!

Alternative Treks
(5 Day Salkantay, 4 Day Lares Valley
3 Day Huchuy Qosqo Trek )
SALKANTAY & MACHUPICCHU 4 DAY / 3 NIGHT Trek -Private Service:
This trek takes you around Mount Salkantay, the second largest mountain in the Cusco region (6271m/20,568ft), On the first night, you'll camp within clear sight of the snow capped peak of Salkantay mountain. The second day will be the longest day of the tour, and while you work a bit harder to get there, the views at the top are even more rewarding. The walk to reach the famous Apacheta Pass at 4,600m/15,088ft) (the Inca Trail's 'Dead Woman’s Pass' is only 4,200m/13,776ft)) is not strenuous neither very steep, afterward it is mainly descent into a more tropical area passing Andenes and Chaullay on the far side of the mountain.
We`ll take the forty five minute train ride from the famous Hydro Electric Dam and then spend the rest of the 3th evening relaxing in the town and hotsprings of Aguas Calientes. Early in the morning you take the bus (or walk if desired) up to Machu Picchu for your guided tour, a well deserved reward but many say the trek is a prize in itself!

Auzangate Mountain is the highest mountain in the Cordillera Vilcanota. The Cordillera Vilcanota is an impressive range of mountains which include the massive Nevado de Ausangate (6,385m) and three others tops over 6000m.
It's excellent trekking circuit offering to the traveller everything you could want: spectacular mountain scenery, snow-capped peaks, hot springs, turquoise lakes, glaciers, herds of llamas and alpacas, picturesque villages and traditionally dressed Quechua people. This is a moderate to challenging trek, not technical with several high passes and often freezing cold nights so be prepared. This beautiful six day trek starts and finishes at the small Andean village of Tinqui and takes you around the massif of Ausangate mountain and over three high passes (two of them over 5000m).
It is essential to be properly acclimatized for this hike spending at least two or three days in Cusco (or equivalent altitude) before starting.
The peak of Auzangate is considered by the local people to be a sacred Apu and it is the central most powerful point of pilgrimage for today’s Quechuas descendents. This fascinated trek can be also combined with famous Inti raymi fest, Sun`s festival in Cusco or the winter solstice fest in Qoyllor rity snow capped mountains opposite from Ausangate.
