The majority of passengers choose the Day 1 tour visit of the Sacred Valley with the famous Pisaq Inca site and the typical Market where you have plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful products. Then on to Ollantaytambo Inca town (the living Inka village with so much character).
For those who are already doing this famous Sacred Valley tour on another day there is in this case the option to do an alternative Tour to Chincheros Inca town, Moray (Inka´s Farming Laboratory) and Maras Saltmines, then time to visit and explore Ollantaytambo ruins. This 2nd option has a supplemental cost though unless you form a group of 6 people. see more info below. Unless the Moray Maras tour option is specifically requested in the comments section you will be automatically confirmed with the Sacred Valley option. Program Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco, Sacred Valley of the Inkas, Pisac, Urubamba, Ollantay-tambo, train to Aguas Calientes town.

At 08:20 am join our guided tour to visit the Sacred Valley of the Inkas, visit, see and hike at Pisaq Ruins (the Archaeological site) for nearly 2 hours and then we stop at the typical Market in Pisac, famous for his traditional daily small market for locals where you can take postcard pictures and see some ancestral customs and traditions, Piseños with impressive colorfull dressing, admire the fertile lands of corn, quinua, maca, potatoes and other andean crops, enjoy the magical Valley of Urubamba, Yucay town, (stop near Urubamba town where you can have a lunch at your choice, is not included, you can be free to bring some snacks or a pack lunch) then we continue to Ollantaytambo, where we have enough time to explore this Inca town with impressive temples and edifications (the living Inka village with a lot of carácter and traditions). Afternoon train to Aguas Calientes town at 17:00 Hrs. Reception and transfer to you accommodation in Aguas Calientes town.(Our staff will meet you at the arrival área of train Station) Dinner and short briefing offered by your guide for your Machupicchu´s visit on next morning early. Day 2: First bus to Machupicchu, Guided tour, Full day at Machupicchu, walk to Huaynapicchu, Aguas Calientes.

Early breakfast at 05:00 am, bus at 05:30 am for 30 minutes from Aguas Calientes to Machupicchu to see the sunrise and be the firsts when the Park is open, (we don´t recommend to walk from Aguas Calientes to Machupicchu, better idea is to save energies for extra nice walks inside Machupicchu and arounds, Machupicchu is huge) 2-3 Hrs guided tour with an expert guide in english or in Spanish, walk to Huaynapicchu mountain (without a guide, the trail is clearly marked and there are a lot of people doing this nice walk)), free time to explore in your own, walk to Sun´s gate (part of the Inca Trail trek) extra walk to the Inka bridge, packed lunch included, By 17:00 Hrs Walk down for 1 Hr from Machupicchu to Aguas Calientes, At Puente Ruinas bridge you can visit a small Museum dedicated to Machupicchu´s discover and the Orchids Garden (15 Soles fee). 2nd night in Aguas Calientes. It is about 10 minutes from the hot spring pools.   • Step 2.- Select your tour and complete your personal details.(Registration is personal) If you are travelling as a couple, or with more persons you must pay your booking deposit with one reservation code. But please complete details of your companion or group on lines below: Travelling with: (Please write name and surname, Passport number, Age and Nationality).
  • Unless the Moray Maras tour option is specifically requested in the comments section you will be automatically confirmed with the Sacred Valley option.   • Once you finish sending us all your details you will receive a Reservation Code (eg: 240611001). Then you just need to pay your deposit, pay for 2 or more person in your group with 1 reservation code so we can secure all of you in a group, your train tickets and guided tour together.
  • Step 3.- PAY A BOOKING-DEPOSIT with WESTERN UNION: US$ 200.00 per person through in order to Mr: Irwin POMA FLORES (PERU). Upon transferring the money email us the Money Transfer Number (MTCN) copy of your reservation and amount paid to: office@sastravelperu.com and david@sastravelperu.com to confirm your deposit. We will confirm your reservation on the same day.
  • Step 3.- PAY A BOOKING-DEPOSIT ONLINE with MASTER CARD.- US$ 210.00 per person. (US$ 200.00 includes 5% card charge.) As soon as we receive your deposit we will procced purchasing your Tickets for Machupicchu and train tickets and we will send you a final confirmation of your tour with detailed information shortly.   • FINAL PAYMENT: The remaining balance needs to be paid at your arrival to Cusco in Peruvian soles or US$ Dollars cash (Exchange rate 2.90 Soles for US$1). Payments with credit / debit cards are accepted with a commission of 5%, Travelers' cheques with 3% only at our Office in Cusco.
  • Final payments of your tour IN ADVANCE with card it is possible, it will be with 5% extra or you can transfer the balance through Western Union.

Terms & Conditions

  • SAS Travel TERMS & CONDITIONS.
  • 1. You must pay for your tour in full by 12:00 noon, until 2 days before your departure.
  • Make the payment of your final balance in our Cusco SAS Travel office is requested in cash. US$ is easier but if you choose to pay in soles the rate charged is generally 2.90 soles for US$1 You can withdraw US$ or soles from the many ATM machines. Generally more economic on debit cards. If a final payment is not made by 12 noon the day before any tour, the total balance will be charged to the credit card + the 5% commission.
  • 2. Cost of tour is based on double occupancy ...single supplement cost additional for single travelers is US$20
  • 3. The student US$20 discount for use of student cards is regulated by the site and INC itself, not SAS Travel. All student ISIC cards are validated by the control of the park and only accepted if you scanned a clear copy of your valid ISIC student card through with your deposit at the time of booking and it was confirmed. A Youth Travel card is not accepted by the control.
  • 4. You must carry your original passport and valid ISIC student card (if applicable) on the tour.
  • 5. Please note Hostel Viajeros is not a 3 star hotel but is clean, safe and comfortable. If you are wanting alternative accomodation this can be organised, these are some upgrade options and the corresponding supplemental cost based on double occupancy.
  • 6. Changes to schedules or dates can only be made if there is availability in the alternative date and when train tickets have been finalised this incurs a furhter administration charge of US$10 per ticket. At times a change of date may only be possible with an upgrade and so the difference in price would also need to be paid.
  • 7.- NOT INCLUDED:
  • Hot springs 10 soles
  • 8.-If you are wanting to include an ascent of Huayna Picchu in your visit to Machu Picchu beware that there are new regulations and permits have to be bought in advance. The cost to have a Machu Picchu entrance that includes the permits to climb Huayna Picchu is US$10.00 extra and you need to indicate this in your web reservation at the time of booking.
  • There is a limit of only 400 permits for climbing Huayna Picchu and only 200 people are permitted to enter for each of the 2 sessions scheduled for 7am and 10 am. The guide will organise the tour of Machu Picchu around peoples climb of Huayna Picchu depending on how many in the group have permits. Please note your entrance to Machu Picchu and permit for Huayna Picchu are with your name and passport details so are non transferable and non refundable.
  • Last minute bookings of this trek will possibly miss out on permits in high season so please book and pay in advance.
  • 9.- CANCELLATIONS MADE BY CLIENTS:
  • 9-a.- Cancelation of tour before bookings and train tickets finalised incurrs no fee in high season this is generally before 2 months in advance of departure.
  • 9-b.- Cancelation of tour within 2 months and 1 month before departure incurs a loss of 15% of total tour cost,
  • 9-c .-Cancelation of tour within 1 month and 14 days before departure incurs a loss of 30% of total tour cost,9-d.- Cancelation of tour within 14 days and 5 days before departure incurs a loss of 50% of total tour cost,
  • -9.-e Cancelation of tour within 5 days and 48 hours before departure incurs a loss of 70% of total tour cost,
  • 9.f.- Cancelation of tour within 24 hours of departure incurs a loss of 90% of total tour cost,
  • We can always provide you with a document to certify illness and present for your travel insurance

  • 11. SAS Travel will take all reasonable care in providing service to our clients to avoid accident, illness, loss of personal property and will only employ suitably qualified staff. We accept responsibility for the actions of our own employees. SAS Travel cannot however be responsible for any action or event that was unforeseeable or unavoidable. We also cannot be responsible for improper acts by clients or other third party. You are totally responsable for your own personal property and rented equipment.
  • 12. SAS Travel does not take responsibility for additional costs due to unfavorable weather conditions, natural catastrophe, strikes, accidents, illness, injury, loss of personal items, etc. It is the clients responsibility to carry insurance to cover these types of events. We reserve the right to modify or cancel the program due to any of the unforeseen conditions listed above.
  • 13.- When paying the balance in Cusco, there will be a * 3% comission if you choose to use travellers cheques and a 5% comission for use of credit card.
