For many high season dates June, July, Aug you need to book about 1-2 months in advance to guarantee the Huaynapicchu Ticket since there is limited availability. For people who book at last minute there may not be any Huaynapicchu permits left and so we can buy the Machu Picchu mountain permit instead
If you have a ISIC card you must scan it through at the time of booking otherwise expect the adult price.
Thank you so much for an amazing trip!! We had such a fun time. Erik was the most amazing guide. So knowledgeable about the trail and really made our trip the best!
Thank you!
Inca Trail was much more than I expected and I loved every minute of it. Our guide, Danny Ramirez, has a great sense of humor and was wonderful throughout the trip. Danny took the time to explain to us each of the ecological sites we stopped by and told us many interesting facts about the Inca people. Highly recommended tour guide!!
The porters were amazing. They took care of us very well. The food was amazing - a handmade cake for breakfast prior to our departure to Machu Picchu, handmade pizza with fresh tomatoes and ham, everything was delicious.
This was a once in a life time experience for me and I want to thank Danny and his team to make the trip an unforgettable one.
Buenos Dias Amigos,
I´ve joined in the Inca Trail 4d/3n with SAS Travel with the guides Ruben and Michael. The trecking tour was a great experience, I enjoyed the tour - it was unforgettable for me. We were a funny group with two great guides . The 2nd day was a real challenge, but Ruben and Michael motivated and helped me when I had problems. All the SAS team was great - good food and good service, we had a very good time with unforgettable experiences in the nature and on the old Inca places and always with much fun. The greatest when we arrived the sun gate with the view of Machu Picchu in the morning on the 4th day!
A special event too the climbing up the Huayna Picchu at the end of the tour with Michael, we did it in the half time like recommended.
Thank you for all your efforts, for your service and for your help.
I remember a great time in Cusco and on the trail.
Muchas Gracias,
Peter.
So much more what I ever expected, and I mean in everything !!!! The guides were amazing ( Ruben and Michael ; ), the food, the porters, the arrangements, just name it, everything worked so well. Now I really do understand why it is worth to pay maybe little bit more than just an ordinary tour operator, Sas Travel really makes your trip easy and that you can enjoy every moment of it, and very important point, with the excellent and professional guides who can really make a huge diffence while up there in the mountains....my best wishes to all SAS Travel staff, would return anytime with you, my Inca Trail was one of the top experiences of my life, thx to you ! Special greeting to our funny and the best guides, Ruben and Michael ; )
AMAZING AND UNFORGETTABLE! Jimmy and Eric were our incredible guides on this fantastic journey. They were thoughtful guides who helped our group of 11 hikers bond right away. I can't emphasize enough how amazing the porters and chefs were- we had elaborate meals every day, and were always well-fed and hydrated. SAS did an exceptional job and it's clear that they are an elite company. Thank you for everything.

The majority of passengers choose the Day 1 tour visit of the Sacred Valley with the famous Pisaq Inca site and the typical Market where you have plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful products. Then on to Ollantaytambo Inca town (the living Inka village with so much character).
For those who are already doing this famous Sacred Valley tour on another day there is in this case the option to do an alternative Tour to Chincheros Inca town, Moray (Inka´s Farming Laboratory) and Maras Saltmines, then time to visit and explore Ollantaytambo ruins. This 2nd option has a supplemental cost though unless you form a group of 6 people. see more info below. Unless the Moray Maras tour option is specifically requested in the comments section you will be automatically confirmed with the Sacred Valley option. But if you prefer the Moray Maras tour option just let us know well in advance so we can form a group for your date and try to maintain the price.
