Overview
Combining the beauty of the Sacred Valley with archealogical mysteries and bustling markets of Pisac Ollantaytambo and Chincheros with the "living" inca trail trek (Quishuarani to Yanahuara Route) so named for the close contact with the local people and their ancient traditional way of life. The trek takes us into the Lares region of the Peruvian Andes, passing green valleys, tranquil mountain lakes and high passes, with breathtaking views of snow-capped Andean peaks rising to just under 6,000 meters. Our route takes us through many small village communities that offer a rare & fascinating insight into traditional Andean life. Finally we make our way by train to Aguas Calientes and continue on to Machu-Picchu, the legendary Lost City of the Incas. We have plenty of time to explore this renowned and fascinating site, climb to Huayna Picchu, walk to Sun-Gate etc.

Day 1: Arrival to CUSCO
Arrival to CUSCO. Reception in Cusco airport and Transfer to your Hotel in Cusco , Rest and acclimatize as you are now at 3,400 mts above sea level. If you are feeling up to it..Optional Afternoon: At 13:45 pm Guided Cusco City Tour : Koricancha " Sun Temple" , Cusco Principal Cathedral, Saqsayhuaman Inca Complex,Tambo Machay,Qenqo and Puca-Pucara. Overnight Hotel Marqueses.

Day 2: Sacred Valley Tour with a Buffet Lunch in Urubamba
At 08:40 am Sacred Valley Tour with a Buffet Lunch in Urubamba, we will visit the Typical Pisac Market, 2 hours guided walk into the Pisac Inca Ruins Complex, Ollantaytambo and Chincheros. Returning approx at 18:45 pm to Cusco , Overnight Hotel Marqueses.

Day 3: Free Day to relax in Cusco
Free Day to relax in Cusco and preparing your pack for your Lares trek. Optional River Rafting or Mountai Bike Tour in Moray, Maras and Salineras US$ 35 pp ;Return to the Hotel Overnight. Marqueses Hotel.

Day 4: 4 Day Lares Valley Trek
4 Day Lares Valley Trek At 06:00 am Depart in private bus to Totora ; 3 hrs hike in the Totora Canyon stop for Lunch near hot spring of Lares ; 3 hrs aprox to our first campsite in Wacawasi, camping near to the village.
Day 5: Visit the Communnity of Wacawasi
Visit the Communnity of Wacawasi; 4 hrs hike to Ipsayccocha Pass 4,400 mts after lunch 3 hours hike to Patacancha. Our second campsite. Beautiful mountains and Valleys along the way; Optional to buy really nice weavings from local.
Day 6: Afternoon train to Aguas Calientes, hot springs.
4 hrs walk to Ollantaytambo, free time to explore the Plaza of Ollanta; Afternoon train to Aguas Calientes. On arrival to Aguas Calientes you are met by staff of "Viajeros Bed & Breakfast Hostal" at the train Station and accompanied to the Hostal to settle into your rooms. Free time in the evening to soak in the famous hot springs ( 10 soles not included ). Overnight at the Viajeros Bed & Breakfast. Double or Triple Rooms with private bathroom and shower. Dinner included in the Hostal.
Day 7: Early climbing to Machupicchu to explore, guided tour and perhaps climbing Huaynapicchu.
Machupicchu -Cusco MEarly breakfast before the 5.45am bus to Machu Picchu.For a Guided tour followed by free time to further explore and maybe climb Wayna Picchu, Sungate or Inca bridge , Buffet lunch awaits you after the 45min walk down the trail back to Aguas Calientes (bus optional $6.00) Afternoon: Return by train to Cusco (and bus at times from Ollantaytambo) and transfer to Hotel Marqueses (Breakfast and Lunch Included)
