Lake Titicaca - Puno

Lake Titicaca (6 hrs from Cusco in tourist bus) is the highest navigable lake in the world: home to the people of the Uros, Amantani and Taquile islands. Our packages enable you to enjoy the traditional customs of these island people and world famous weavings of the Taquile islanders. Where can you find the Deepest Canyon in the World? The answer is right here in Peru, .... "The Colca Canyon" Located near Arequipa the Ciudad Blanca (White City) so named for the white volcanic ashlar stone used for building. You can fly to Arequipa from Lima or Cuzco, or make the 1000 kms south from Lima by bus along the Pan American Highway and Pacific Coast, stopping off at Paracas and Nazca on the way. Or from Cusco it is a 12 hour bus or more popular, is to travel to Puno with a stopover to visit Lake Titicaca and then 6 hours further to Arequipa. click here for more information.
