BOOKING A TRIP.-
SAS Travel Peru would like to offer you some
guidelines for Booking your Treks, Tours,
Services and other Reservations (In order to confirm
your Inca Trail Permits, Flight Ticket prices, Peru Rail
Train Tickets, Special Packages, Hotel Reservation, etc ) we
need a Down Payment Booking Deposit; eg us$200 Classic Inca
Trail, us$150 for Manu Jungle Excursions,us$150 for
Alternative Treks ; This determined Down Payment is
charged without any extra cost ( SAS cover the credit
card commission on the deposit) as in Peru there are
high credit card commissions such as 5%-8% or even 10%
).
We really prefer your total balance payment to be
made in Peruvian Soles or US$ cash at least 2 days
in advance. There are centrally located Banks and ATM´s
around the main Plaza de Armas just near our Office; If you
must pay with credit card there is a 5% surcharge and with
travellers checks a 3% commission. But our request
is that you pay in cash preferably soles. The prices of the
tours are for Cash and you can withdraw soles or US $ out
of the ATM´s on Debit Cards as well which is the preference
of most.
If a final payment is not made by 12noon the
day before any tour or service such as Inca trail the total
balance will be charged to the credit card + the 5% commission.
PRIVACY POLICY: All the information you provide us;
full name, passport number, nationality, date of birth, and
your credit card information will be used strictly to process
your trip arrangements. This information will not be shared
with anyone.

Passport & Visas: You are totally responsible
to check directly with Embassies regarding any of these
matters and any transit travel on route to Peru. Make sure
your passport has at least 6 months validity beyond the conclusion
of your tour when booking and if not make extra copies
of it and scan it into your computer in case you need it
after you renew a passport.

Check carefully that it does not say "incorrect cardholder" or "operation
denied" as this means the payment was not successful. If

send it to us anyway but indicate that it was unsuccessful

or attach a filled word document BOOKING FORM
(link) with Visa or Amex Card details for your down
payment deposit by E MAIL or FAX

1.5 .- If you only have Mastercard then the
system is much more complicated ; Mastercard insists that
we must receive all 3 of these documents with your Booking
: 1.- A
Mastercard Authorization Form 2.- A clear scanned
image of both sides of your card (front and back to view
the signature and 3 security digits) 3.- A clear scanned
copy of your passport photo page.
If you contact us we can send the Booking form
and Mastercard Authorization Form .
Please ensure you fully understand the conditions
before any payments are made.
1.6.- Sending us all your information by e mail
and deposit to Banco Continental BBVA ( Payments only within
Peru )
2.- Inca Trail Permits, Manu and Jungle Trips, Flight
tickets, Peru Rail Train Tickets request your first name
and Surname as it appears on your passport,
passport number, date of birth, nationality.
3.- You should receive from SAS Travel an official
Confirmation for your trip within 12 hours for Inca
trail and flights or up to 24 hours for other tours. If you
do not recieve a confirmation within that timeframe please
just contact us on office@sastravelperu.com and
cc to info@sastravelperu.com and
the subject heading needs to say
"Urgent Confirmation required (and state the tour /
date of and your names)"
4.- The balance may be paid if preferred in
advance via Bank wire (please just contact us for
more details)
CANCELLATION POLICY & Other Important Information.
If for any reason you organize a new passport after we have
purchased your permits for INCA trail,… you must bring
with you, the old passport or if this is impossible, 2 very
clear copies of the old passport along with your new passport
on the trail. if not the control will refuse you entrance.
Unless you hire an extra porter you need to carry your back
pack, sleeping bag and the mattress. if you want an extra
porter (for the full trip) you must have booked this with
your original booking form as they require permits.
